Having hosted several Pro-Ams at Quinta do Peru we are big fans of this course. The front nine is very good, however the back nine is simply superb and arguably the best nine hole stretch in Portugal!

It’s a forest course with the Arrabida mountains as its backdrop and has everything you would expect of a great course. The fairways have lovely sandy soil, there are stunning views and picturesque holes that play round large woodland lakes.

The pick of the holes are the short par four 12th which sweeps downhill and round a lake to the green. The 16th is a long par three of over 200 yards where you have to carry a lake to reach the green.

Location

Quinta do Peru is situated 38 km to the south of Lisbon airport, a driving time of approximately 45 minutes (outside of the rush hour). Driving from the airport you have to go across the ‘25th April’ suspension bridge (the old bridge) and then head south on the IP7/A2.
