The serivce overall was excellent. The hotel was as good as the previous times we hast stayed there & the meal we has as part of our deal was nothing short of tremendous. The golf course was in the best condition it has been in for year. Both transfers were on time & extremely spacious & comfortable. The service from your own comapny cannot be faulted either as were kept updated throughout & the travel documents arrived in plenty of time. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company & in fact already have to a work colleague & would certainly use your services again. Thanks again.

The trip was very good albeit quite short, a mixture of business, entertaining and pleasure. I think the Crowne Plaza is the best value hotel in Vilamoura especially for groups of golfers, very clean, helpful staff and the breakfast is first class(much less industrial 'sludge' than others I could mention!!) bedrooms are very good. Also they were very helpful on the final day storing luggage and organsing showers in the Spa because we had a late flight.
The 3 courses we played were all in good condition, Monte Rei was as usual excellent in all respects. I always think Laranjal lets itself down - good course in fine order but poor changing rooms, primitive bar and the snack food below average, but then again its no surprise because its been like that since it opened 10+ years ago!!! Your agents are always very punchal and helpful, no hassle with collecting or returnihg the hire car. All my guests were overall impressed, many thanks.

Another fantastic holiday! PAGS (your agents) were fantastic, the hotel has had a refit and looks lovely, the rooms are still a bit dated but they are doing them now.... the golf was first class. Monte Rei being our favourite course, followed by Victoria. Thanks again for all of your help in helping us choose the right courses to play and moving the collection times back a bit that helped us sit for a while and grab some lunch and have a few beers.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the PGA Catalunya.
We were slightly delayed on arrival and thehotel reception quickly re-arranged our tee time for us, excellent.
The room and all our meals were very good. The range of food (breakfast and dinner) was huge and you could eat as muchasyou liked. To receive a drink with dinner as part of the deal was a nice touch (the red wine was particularlynice!).
TheSpa in the hotel is of a good standard with a good range of facilities, just use your room key to access.
The Golf - The girlsat reception in the clubhouse were very, very helpful. We changed our tee times a couple of time and booked a buggy on a couple ofoccasions.They advised us that by moving our tee times ontwo of the days, wecould play as a two ball and have a good spacing between matches.
The Stadium Course is very special, we were allowed to play off the backtees and were able to experience the course the same as the players at the Spanish Open held here a few weeks ago.The Tour course is not as long butwas still enjoyable with some good holes.The condition of both courses was excellent, the fairways and greens were of the highest quality. (A long and wet summerprobably helped?).
The design of the club house is stunning with wonderful views over the StadiumCourse withmountain ranges in the distance.The verandaarea is a lovely place to sit and have a drink and something to eat afterour rounds.The practice areas must be some of the best in Europe if not the world.
We were very impressed with the entire stay at the PGA and would happily return.
Well done AM Golf, we were delighted with the whole package.

Thankyou, the trip was a great success. Penina has had a change of management and what a difference from last year. They now have a very pro active team who couldn't do enough to make the whole experience better from a welcome meeting to dancers and music. The golf course itself was in great shape and we really enjoyed our three rounds. The only down side is the slow play from some of our continental cousins who didn't care if it took all day so 5 1/2 hours is the norm, we are used to 4 1/2 but I suppose it would be the same at any course. So thankyou again and I will be passing your details to Paul who is next years victim for the organising and his decision where we go.

Had a very enjoyable 5 day break at Monte da Quinta, excellent accommodation with very enjoyble food and leisure facilities, we spent a lot of time around the leisure facilities (indoor and outdoor) they were very good. Even the underground car park is hassel free with a lift direct to your room!! Golf courses were in excellent condition, have to say I've never seen the Algarve as quiet. We played Monte Rei and didn't see a single golfer, millionaire's golf!!! And it's a class above all the other courses, Vilamoura Old was in excellent condition and still a favourite (aided by my 41 points!!) Only slight downside was Laranjal took 5 hours on Saturday, probably felt longer because we were a 2 ball (our 'Partners' did not turn up) jammed between 4 balls, never mind the weather was excellent, back to thunder, lightning, rain and hail yesterday. Welcome home!! Looking forward to returning in 6 weeks time with the Bowden party.

Well, we both had a wonderful time. I have holidayed often in Vilamoura but staying at the Plaza gave this one more than an edge. Thanks so much for the recommendation, the hotel was amazing! Pinhal was dead quiet but as good as I remember. We actually changed the Laguna round and played twice at Pinhal, which PAGS quickly changed for me. Easy when it's that quiet I guess but they were excellent and very helpful.
All in all a trip to remember, I cannot fault a single part of it! Alisons birthday was fab, with golf in the morning, lunch and then an afternoon/evening in the spa with massage! Suffice to say we plan to head back on the 27th March next year and do exactly the same! So........over to you sir!

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you but I’ve only just recovered from the tour!
I would like to say a big thank you to you for all your help in organizing a most successful trip. The hotel was perfect, the rooms were excellent and the staff made us feel really welcome. The golf courses were excellent although I think everyone found El Saler extremely challenging from both a golfing and stamina point of view, by the third day everyone was starting to flag. Please pass on our thanks to Beatrice, her choice of restaurants was perfect and everyone found the atmosphere and quality of food to be exceptional. Unfortunately, the first restaurant which was one recommended by a friend of Neil’s didn’t quite live up to expectations. Also, the coach company were great and the drivers didn’t seem to mind too much when we kept them waiting – it was sometimes quite difficult to drag the boys out of the bar! It was just a shame we didn’t have more time to have a look around Valencia, however, I think a number of people were thinking about a return trip for long weekend just to soak up the sights.

Further to my E mail yesterday a bit more feedback for you;
Hotel - Quite superb - staff service in particular stood out. We would certainly stay there again. We were shown the villas that they have and might well ask you to enquire as to prices for a 2 bedroom villa in future years.
Matrix (local agents) - Fantastic service - always there when they were supposed to be and ensured we were looked after. Switching courses for us was the right thing to do as we met a guy who hadn't been switched (as Carya was still open) and he said it was very poor.
Courses - All very good but one in particular stood out (The National) which was the best course we have played on anywhere (including San Lorenzo in the Algarve). It was very tough and we struggled as fairly high handicappers but even so it was a great experience. We only got matched up once in all four rounds and that was with just one guy from England on the Sultan so that was really good.
AM Golf - What can I say the package you put together was exceptional value for money and I recommended you to the guy we were matched with at the Sultan (as he had paid a lot more for his holiday). He was at the Cornelia Diamond and said it was very good but big/impersonal. He also commented that the Montgomerie course was excellent.
Anyway thanks for all you did - we had a fantastic holiday.

Every aspect of the hotel, transfers and golf (our favourite course was Tat) was perfect. I would recommend it to anyone. I have suggested to my wife that we take the family for a week.

The AM organisation was excellent, coaches on time to and from the airport and golf arrangements very satisfactory.
The hotel was fantastic, with marvellus food (and the all-in drinks option was well worth while) and facilities.
We found the golf courses tough, particularly the South course, but much improved once we used buggies.
I would recommend that you tell other (oldies like us) clients that they need to book buggies in advance. The walk to and from the 1st tee on the North course must be half a mike; the last thing you want afetr a tough four hours.
We will certainly recommend the deal to others and may well return ourselves in the near future.

Where do I begin? I have been going on golf trips to Spain & Portugal for over ten years and have been going away with the ‘boys’ to Portugal for 5 x years. I can honestly say we have not had a better ‘all round’ trip. Everyone really enjoyed the Turkey experience, with one of the group expressing the view that it was a better golfing experience than Portugal.
The hotel: absolutely fantastic. The rooms were excellent with the sea views, so thanks for arranging that. The facilities on offer were first class, although as it was early in the season they were still getting bits and pieces ready, but that did not detract in any way from our stay. The waiters in all the bars (surprisingly we tried as many as we could!), were first class, always on hand to serve you with whatever you wanted. It was my first experience of ‘All Inclusive’, as I have always shied away from this option as I was expecting loads of drunken behaviour from over-zealous golfers. But I am pleased to say, apart from one inebriated Finnish lad, I found the new experience wonderful. What a pleasant change it was, not having to pay for anything.
The food in the restaurants was also first class, a super selection, plenty of variety and again the waiters were always on hand to keep your glass full – what more can you ask for? It was also a pleasant change to be able to take as much fruit, bananas etc. for your round of golf.
The courses were brilliant. All in very good condition, challenging but fair, for our standard of golf. On a personal note, and this is always a subjective thing, I would not play the Dunes again as we found it a little on the short side, but that was my fault for booking it. Nonetheless the surroundings at Sueno were beautiful, and the drinks afterwards on the decking area were most enjoyable.
Now for the Agents. I think it is true to say that they made the holiday even more special. We felt like Professional Golfers getting picked up in their first class transport in front of the hotel and being collected again at the courses when we had finished. They were all so friendly and helpful. I am sure that a number of other golfers were a little bit jealous of the service we received as they always seemed to be waiting to be collected, along with loads of others. We always felt ‘just a little bit special’ and all the boys commented on how good the service was. From the very beginning, when we arrived, there was a little bit of confusion over our rooms. Their itinerary said ‘Standard Rooms, whereas your itinerary said Superior rooms, the Matrix Agent said ‘no problem, I’ll sort it’, and she did. They were all so friendly telling us about the courses we were playing etc. and arranging to collect us when it suited us. Overall a First class service.
Finally, can I say that the whole experience, booking the holiday with you AM Golf has been a pleasure, and I would like to thank you for everything you have done to make our trip a most memorable one. I will certainly be in touch when we are thinking of arranging our next trip.

Everything went like clockwork although we arrived in Faro early and missed your meet and greet person- but not a problem.
We hadbeen warned that Penina was in poor condition but we found it to be fine -a good golf challenge with good greens.
The second day we decided on your recommendation to try the redesigned Palmares course (Trent Jones Jr). Excellent course with american style greens.
Rod was at the hotel to meet us with the hire clubs which were all new sets in excellent condition.
We dined out each night at different restaurants in Alvor by the harbour and enjoyed excellent food.
The hotel, which was excellent, courses and town or Alvor were very quiet - out of season - but perfect for our short break.

Thank you for your email, we had a lovely time.
The hotel was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent, we enjoyed "trying" to play golf on the Resort course! I think we did quite well! I enjoyed swimming in the pool - we were very lucky with the weather on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and we spent a lot of time sunbathing around the pool. The whole resort was picturesque and well organised and we really did enjoy ourselves.
Your people met us at the airport and collected us from the hotel without a hitch and again were really friendly and attentive. Also, the clubs arrived exactly on time and golf club at Penina was very well organised and efficent.
All in all, it was a great "first" golfing holiday and we would love to do anoither.

We had a great time. Courses brilliant, wecouldn’t pick a favourite over the end of tour lunch, personally I thought Oitavios just shades it. PAGS, very friendly and helpful but unfortunately we were still down at Quinta when they came to the hotel, they left a note and contact details but no problems at all. Car hirefine, again service very goodand hotelin an ideal location and very good value.
Had a good chat with Oitavos manager, Frederico over lunch on Friday and he sends his regards.

We had three days of wonderful golf (Camporeal being the star course to all of our surprise!) the hotel was great (the only small issue we had was resolved quickly by your lady – she was mightily efficient) , the weather was good, all the transport turned up on time and even Easyjet managed to leave and depart on time.

Thanks very much, its great to be home after all that golf. I really can’t thank you enough for everything you have done setting up the break. The only thing that didn't go to plan was all the pars & birdies I had I mind you I couldn't believe the greens could be that fast & the Salgados course has too much water for my brothers liking, he lost eight balls in the hazards.
The hotel was fantastic, very tidy and·the breakfasts·had everything you could wish for·apart from a nice sausage to go with the bacon and egg. The transfers to the courses were always on time as agreed, if you can pass on my regards to PAGS & & the driver in particular, who were first class with my nephew.
Everyone enjoyed the break also & complimented everything too. With all this in mind & we can get another deal/offer for next year I reckon I'll be back in touch early next year. Hope to speak to you in the near future.

I hope you are well.·Just a quick note of thanks for the trip to Le Penina that you organised for my son and I recently.
I must confess that I was a wee bit sceptical at L199 each for 4 nights 5 star accommodation including golf on the Championship course, I shouldn't have been - what a fantastic time we had.
The hotel was superb and the course was tremendous, we were even lucky with the weather - it stopped raining as we arrived and started again as we left. The hotel staff were so helpful. They did everything to ensure our trip was a success. From transporting cases and clubs on arrival to (even) cleaning our golf shoes.
My only criticism of the trip was the hotel prices - but it is 5 star!! Drinks were not too bad but food was very pricey, over 80 euros for a Le·Peninalogoshirt is expensive (and that was in the sale). To offset this we taxied into Alvor in the evening (7 Euros in a cab). There are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.
I will definitely be going back to Le Penina with AM Golf holidays.·Once again, Adrian, well done and thank you

Just wanted to let you know that Allan and I had a super break to La Cala. Your arrangements were all perfect and everything worked out just fine – we also got the room that we wanted and enjoyed some sunny afternoons on the balcony.
La Cala has definitely improved since we were there six years ago – with the addition of the Europa course and the Spa it was great.· The service and food at breakfast was excellent, although when we did try one of the special evening meals – the tapas evening – the food was a bit bland. However, with the hire car we were able to go to some of the many restaurants which is always fun.·Thanks again and we will certainly look for a quote from you for our next golfing break.
