The Nau Sao Rafael Atlantic Hotel is a luxurious 5 star resort, located overlooking the beach at Sao Rafael and a ten minute ride from the centre of Albufeira.

The hotels design is similar to its sister hotel the Nau Sao Rafael Suits, which is situated some 500 metres away, with a stylish minimalistic theme and modern furniture. The hotel is surrounded by extensive gardens with 1000 Olive and Palm trees and has some first class facilities including an 1800m2 designer Spa.

The hotel offers some excellent value golf packages which include golf on its three courses Salagos, Morgado and Alamos. The closest is Salgados, just ten a minute drive, the other two courses, Morgado and Alamos are situated together approximately twenty five minutes away.

There are a small selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, however it’s Albufeira where most guests will head to find a greater choice and experience one of the Algarve’s liveliest towns.

AM’s Opinion

The Nau Sao Rafael Atlantis is a great alternative to the traditional golf resort hotels in the Algarve. The hotel provides stylish accommodation, excellent food and a location that is convenient both for golf, the beach and good night-life. It also offers some of the best value golf packages available.

Location

The 5* Rafael Atlantic Hotel is located 50km west of Faro airport, a driving time of approximately 40 minutes. It has a spectacular location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with direct access to Sao Rafael Beach and is only a short drive from Albufeira.
