Santana is a picturesque parkland course situated halfway between Mijas and La Cala. Designed by architect Cabell Robinson it’s set in a former avocado plantation and a feature of the course are the variety of trees that line the fairways including lemon, orange, olive, fig and avocado. The course has wide and well defined fairways and is one of the flattest in this region making it easy to walk. There are some strategically positioned water hazards and bunkers, which are filled with crushed white marble that sparkle in the sun. Santana is one of the finest and most enjoyable courses on the coast, and although its clubhouse facilities are fairly modest its staff provide a high level of service and a warm welcome.

The Santana course is situated 30 km to the west of Malaga airport, a driving time of approximately 30 minutes.
