Description

Situated halfway between Estepona and Sotogrande, Finca Cortesin is one of the most luxurious hotels on the Costa Del Sol. Opened in October 2008, the hotel's golf course shot to fame in 2009 when it became the home of the Volvo World Match Play Championship, which was formally held at Wentworth.

The hotel has been designed with Andalusian and Moroccan influences. The bedrooms and public areas have high ceilings and the furniture has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance the distinctive architecture. There are a series comfortably furnished patios overlooking the hotel’s lawn, this area leads to the gardens and outdoor pool.

With the exception of a small number of Superior rooms, the hotel’s accommodation consists of various forms of Suites. There’s a superb Spa and gym and the hotel’s outdoor pool is a stylish design. The Finca Cortesin Golf Club sits next door to the hotel and can be accessed via a path from the hotel.

In addition to the hotel’s three a la carte restaurants which specialise in Asian, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, Tapas is served in the bar and the clubhouse has a very pleasant restaurant overlooking the driving range.   

AM’s Opinion
Finca Cortesin is a beautiful hotel and a great place for a relaxing golf holiday with first class restaurants and a top course. With only 67 rooms it’s a hotel that will suit small groups and particularly mixed parties.

Finca Cortesin is situated approximately 1 km off the A7, 90 km to the west of Malaga airport and 38 km to the east of Gibraltar.
