The Hotel Carmiral at PGA Catalunya Resort opened in June 2016 after a €33 million investment by the owners.

The hotel is the centre piece of this magnificent resort surrounded by two of Spain’s finest courses, the Stadium and the Tour, indeed the Stadium course is rated No 1 in Spain by ‘Top 100 Courses’.

The hotel’s close proximity to Girona airport (7 minutes) and Girona’s city centre (15 minutes) provides a convenient location to enjoy the two superb courses and a delightful city with a great selection of bars and restaurants.

The new hotel has been created by the critically acclaimed interior designer Lazaro Rosa-Violan. The 149 bedrooms combine contemporary design with striking urban-chic interiors to compliment the modern low density development.

The resort's impressive driving range is situated to the front of the hotel and the outdoor pool and gardens are to the other side - the clubhouse is a 5 minute walk.

PGA Catalunya really is one of the most impressive golf resorts in Spain and has two ‘must play courses’, which are both challenging and visually stunning. The new Carmiral hotel provides excellent accommodation on site that will satisfy golfers and non-golfers alike. Add to this the close proximity of Girona, with a great selection of bars and restaurants, and you have a fantastic resort to visit.

The Hotel Camiral is located within the PGA Catalunya courses in Caldes de Malavella 6.5Km south of Girona airport, a driving time of approximately 7 minutes.

Barcelona airport is 98 kms a driving time of 1 hour 10 minites.

Duplex Standard Room

These spacious rooms measuring 51-56 m2 have floor to ceiling windows boasting superb views of the gardens against the backdrop of the Spanish Pyrenees. Each room has been carefully designed to create spaces for working and relaxing. King size bed and a pull out sofa bed. The bathroom has a bath and separate rain shower.

Duplex Deluxe Room

These spacious rooms measuring 51-56 m2 have floor to ceiling windows boasting superb views of the Tour golf course, stunning landscaped gardens and swimming pools, all against the impressive backdrop of Spanish Pyrenees. Each room has its own private balcony (6 m2) and has been designed for work, rest and lounging. Available with twin beds or Kingsize bed (on request and subject to availability on arrival at the hotel) and a pull out sofa bed. The bathroom has a bath and separate rain shower.
