The four star Islantilla Golf Resort is situated just under an hour’s drive from Faro airport and close to the popular coastal resort of Islantilla (1.8km), in the southern Spanish region of the Costa de la Luz.

The hotel is situated in the middle of the picturesque 27 hole parkland Islantilla golf course. The club's stylish clubhouse with attractive tarrace sits directly across from the hotel entrance.

The hotel has a slightly oriental theme to its design with spacious public areas and an impressive outdoor pool area. It has good facilities with 4 restaurants (2 open seasonally), a Spa with indoor pool, gym and hairdressers.

AM’s Opinion

Like many of the resorts in this part of Spain, Islantilla offers great value with the benefit of a 27 hole course within the grounds of the resort. The town of Islantilla is a 20 minute walk and has a reasonable choice of bars and restaurants.

The Hotel consists of 204 rooms, 97 standard, 88 junior suites, 7 senior suites and 12 duplex bungalows.

All rooms are equipped with internet, telephone, air conditioning, safe, mini bar and hairdryers. All have a balcony or terrace. Twin rooms are 27 square metres, junior suites are larger at 36 square metres, senior suites are 41 square metres and have a living room. The bungalows are situated in six villas, are 71 square metres, with a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large terrace.
