La Manga Club

Situated in the region of Murcia in the south east of Spain, La Manga Club is amongst Europe’s most famous and prestigous resorts, having hosted numerous top professional sporting events. The resort is also a favourite training camp for many professional sports teams and has played host to Barcelona, Real Madrid and the Spanish and English national football teams.

The five star Principe Felipe Hotel is the focal point of the resort, with two of the resort's three golf courses situated to one side and the tennis centre with its 28 courts to the otherside. The Las Lomas Apartment complex is within walking distance of the hotel and is popular with families. There’s a choice of over twenty restaurants and bars, a luxury spa and wellness centre and even a beach accessed via the resort’s courtesy shuttle service.

AM’s Opinion

La Manga Club is a special place and once you’ve been there you can understand why so many sporting celebrities regularly visit or indeed own a holiday home there. All the facilities are conveniently located and everything is managed extremely well. There’s three excellent golf courses on site and therefore no need to have a hire car. The night-life might be a bit limited, but it’s certainly a great destination for a short break or for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with everything on your doorstep.
