Flamingos is a fun course that’s full of surprises. The opening holes are pretty tough and just as you think it’s getting easier you come to the 9th, possibly the toughest course on the course. The back nine is a little more open, however you’ll have to negotiate some large water hazards, none more so than on the 10th where you have to clear water to reach the fairway from an elevated tee, then again to hit the green. The slightly elevated position provides some stunning views of the coast and generally it’s one of the best maintained courses on the Costa Del Sol.

White Tees = 6641 metres
Yellow Tees = 6297 metres
Ladies Tees = 5595 metres

The Alferini course opened in late 2007 is by far the toughest of the two Flamingos courses. The first four holes are played through a narrow valley, the course then opens up for nine holes before you head back through the valley. The closing stretch is one of the toughest you will ever play, and you need to be able to hit it a good distance if you are to stand any chance of scoring well!
