The Montgomerie Maxx Royal course is one of the finest and certainly toughest courses in the Belek region. Cut through a pine forest the majority of holes give the impression of having wide fairways, however a feature of this course are the numerous waste bunkers that line most holes. Unusually the 1st and 18th are both par fives and typify what this course is about. From the 1st tee it appears that you have plenty of room, however waste bunkers, some of which are hidden, line the fairway and in some places sneak out into the fairway. There’s a good variety of holes, but the degree of difficulty varies enormously and makes it fun to play for the first time, but is all the better for playing a second time.
 

The clubhouse, which incidentally has four floors, has excellent facilities with a first class restaurant and stylish bar and lounge.    

Location

The Montgomerie Maxx Royal course is situated 40 km to the west of Antalaya airport, a driving time of approximately 30 minutes. The courses is loacted on the eastern side of Belek next door to the Maxx Royal Belek hotel.
