CARYA 18 Holes, Par 72 Carya is one of the top courses in Turkey and one of the few courses that is not owned by a hotel group. Its design was inspired by the English heathland courses such as Sunningdale, Walton Heath and the Berkshire, and almost a million heathland plants were planted during its construction. Off the Championship tees it’s a real slog, fortunately there’s a choice of three forward Mens tees and can play as short as 5890 yards. Everything about Carya is impressive from the stunning clubhouse to the general service levels throughout the course. The layout is relatively flat and although it’s a tree lined course it’s not as tight as some of the courses in Belek. Watch out for the short par four 5th called “Troubled Water”. As you would expect it involves water and requires a careful shot to clear the lake that guards the green. The 13th is a fun par 3 called the “Coffin”! It’s uphill to the green and if you don’t hit it far enough your ball will roll back into a coffin like hollow. LocationThe Carya course is situated 40 km to the west of Antalaya airport, a driving time of approximately 30 minutes. The course is located to the western side of Belek between the Sueno and Kaya courses. Local Hotels
