Description

The Vila Gale Cascais is one of the most popular hotels with golfers visiting this region. The hotel’s convenient location, just a ten to fifteen minute walk to the centre of Cascais, and a five minute drive to the Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos golf courses have contributed to its popularity. 

It’s a relatively modern hotel and the bedrooms are spacious and the public rooms provide a comfortable environment to enjoy a drink or have a meal. The bedrooms have either sea or forests views. The sea view rooms have the better views, however the forest view rooms are a tad quieter.

There’s a pleasant outdoor pool area with both separate adult and children’s pools and the hotel’s Versatil Restaurant serves some excellent Portuguese cuisine.

AM’s Opinion
The Village Cascais is one of the better four star hotels in the region. Its location works very well, avoiding the congested centre of Cascais, however within reasonable walking distance of the bars and restaurants in the centre. It’s also very easy to get to the Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos courses which are literally a five minute drive along the coastal road.

The Vila Gale Cascais hotel is situated 36 km to the west of Lisbon airport, a driving time of approximately 35 minutes (outside of the rush hour).
