The CampoReal course was designed by the highly respected architect Dona Steel. A par 72 of just over 6000m, it meanders through the picturesque wooded valley providing a challenging and interesting test of golf. Cork, Oak, Olive & Eucalyptus trees line the undulating fairways which rise and fall dramatically.

The front nine is the more difficult with the 6^th hole, a par four of 414 metres, being the hardest hole on the course. The 17th, a short par five, is the prettiest hole on the course, providing picturesque views of the resort and surrounding vineyards.

CampoReal is situated 44 km to the north west of Lisbon airport, a driving time of approximately 35 minutes (outside of the rush hour).
