The Tivoli Victoria is Tivoli’s premier hotel in the Algarve and is appropriately situated overlooking Vilamoura’s most prestigious course, the Arnold Palmer designed Oceanico Victoria, host to the European Tour’s Portugal Masters played every October.

The hotel opened in the spring of 2009, and as you would expect from a new modern 5 star hotel it has some very impressive facilities. The Elements Spa provides Asian spa treatments and is the first spa in Portugal to be run by Banyan Tree.

There’s a choice of 280 rooms, of which 17 are suites that come with their own personal butlers! Located on the top floor of the hotel is the EMO gourmet restaurant with minimalistic decoration and serving a mix of Oriental and Portuguese cuisine. Breakfast is served in the Sensorial restaurant which also opens for dinner serving International cuisine with a strong Portuguese influence. The hotel also has two main bars and a poolside bar.

AM’s Opinion
If you want a quiet relaxing hotel with plenty of facilities and a top class spa then you should consider the Tivoli Victoria. It’s not located within walking distance of the Marina, however it’s literally next door to the Victoria clubhouse and only several hundred yards from the clubhouse for the Millennium and Laguna courses.

The Tivoli Victoria Hotel is situated 24 km to the west of Faro airport, a driving time of approximately 30 minutes. The hotel is easy to find as it’s located beside the Vilamoura Oceanico Victoria course clubhouse.
