Description

The Antalya Golf Club consists of two 18 hole courses, the PGA Sultan and Pasha. The two courses offer a contrasting combination with the long and tough PGA Sultan and the far easier and shorter Pasha. The general level of maintenance of both courses is very high and the club has an excellent clubhouse with well equipped Pro shop and first class restaurant and bar.

PGA SULTAN
18 Holes, PAR 71
Championship Tees = 6477 metres
Golf Tees = 5958 metres
White Tees = 5575 metres
Ladies Tees = 5003 metres

At over 7,000 yards with a par of 71 the PGA Sultan is a long, tough course with plenty of water hazards. The fairways are gently rolling and wind through a mix of pine and eucalyptus trees. The 5th , called “Gamble”, is a great par five where you have to clear water off the tee and then avoid a stream that cuts across the fairway half way down. The 16th is a fun par five called “Temptation”. It has water either side of the fairway, then you have clear a stream to hit the green which is guarded by water on three sides!

PASHA
18 Holes, Par 72
Championship Tees = 5731 metres
Golf Tees = 5360 metres
Ladies Tees = 4911 metres
Blue Tees = 4326 metres

The Pasha course is a lot easier than the Sultan, both in terms of its length and the amount of room off the tee. Although it has numerous water hazards, they are generally easier to navigate than those on the Sultan. Having said that, the Pasha is no pushover and has some testing holes. The 9th, a long par four called “Sea Breeze” is a classic example, with a tough fairway to hit and tricky downhill slope to avoid as you approach the green. The 15th is also a tough hole, with a water hazard running along the entire length of the left hand side of the fairway.
